State Bank Business Spotlight

A Raceland-based business has been removing bugs, insects and other unwanted pests from people’s homes or businesses for 35 years — a journey the company’s owner said has been a labor of love.

Crown Exterminating in Raceland has been open since 1987, now with 35 years of experience in pest control services.

Owned by Thibodaux businessman Kirk Champagne, Crown Exterminating offers a variety of services and plans, including one-time monthly and quarterly pest control services for termites, ants, roaches, spiders, bees, crickets, silverfish and more, as well as rodent control and prevention.

Crown Exterminating is located at 3575 La. Highway 1 in Raceland.

Champagne said his staff works fast. When you call Crown Exterminating, employees will respond to your inquiry either same-day or the next day with work fully guaranteed.

“Our certified technicians are licensed and bonded and…
